We are proud to enchant people from the Capitale-Nationale and Chaudière-Appalaches regions with the only free major event in Quebec City.

ON SITE

The Grands Feux Loto-Québec sites are accessible from 6:00 pm.

The pyrotechnic show

The fireworks last 20 minutes and the show starts at 10 pm.

A FESTIVE ATMOSPHERE

Enjoy the festive atmosphere, the artists on stage, the bars and food trucks. Each evening, enjoy the performance of artists in acoustic mode between 6 pm and 8 pm, and our bands on the main stage from 8:30 pm.

In case of rain

  • Do fireworks take place in case of bad weather?

    Fireworks take place rain or shine, so make sure you have adequate clothing in case of rain.

    In case of violent storms, the organisation may cancel some shows on stage for security reasons.

    In the case that the Grands Feux Loto-Québec would have to cancel the pyromusical show for safety reasons, the piece of information will be communicated on the event sites, on our official broadcaster and on social media.

  • Can I bring my umbrella?

    You can bring your umbrella to the site. We count on your curtesy and respect to not obstruct the view of people placed behind you.

Parking

  • Is there any parking available on the Quebec City side?

    There are a few parking spaces near Place des Canotiers in Quebec City. See the list of municipal parking lots available in the Old Quebec area for more information.

    In the Quai Paquet area, parking is limited and subject to a fee.

    It is suggested that you use public transit or active transportation to get to the docks.

Reserved seating areas

  • Will I be safe from the rain?

    The seated areas are placed at the best spot to watch the fireworks, but they are not covered.

  • Are the seats assigned?

    Seats in reserved seating sections are general admission. First come, first served.

    It is important to know that reserved chairs are intended for the best possible view of the fireworks show and not for the stage shows.

  • Can I buy tickets for the reserved seating areas on fireworks nights?

    If there are any tickets left, you can buy them online by visiting the ticketing section of the Grands Feux Loto-Québec website on the nights of the fireworks. Sales end at 9.30 pm. However, it is not possible to buy tickets on site.

  • Can I sit my child on my lap during the fireworks in reserved seating areas?

    You can sit your child aged 0-24 months on you during the fireworks show. Children aged of 2 years and over must have a ticket and their own chair.

  • I am a person with reduced mobility, can I be accompanied in the reserved seating areas?

    A section of the site is accessible free of charge for people with reduced mobility and allows only one accompanying person.

    If a person with reduced mobility would like to get a seat in the reserved seating areas, people accompanying this person must get their own tickets.

  • In case of rain, can I get a refund or change my tickets for another day?

    No refunds, changes of time, or transfers to a third party are accepted. The fireworks take place rain or shine. It is therefore the responsibility of the festival goers to adapt their clothing to the weather.

    In case of violent storms, the organisation may cancel some shows on stage or animations for safety reasons. Tickets are not refunded if fireworks still take place.

    However, if the Grands Feux Loto-Québec is forced to cancel the fireworks show for which your ticket was purchased, the amount of your ticket will be automatically refunded.

  • What time do the fireworks start?

    The pyromusical show starts at 10 pm and lasts 20 minutes.

  • Is it possible to get the playlist used for the pyromusical show?

    The playlists used in each pyromusical show will be available a few days after the evening on the streaming platform Spotify.

  • Can I offer my services as an artist?

    If you would like to be part of the musical program or the artists and craftsmen who animate the docks, submit your proposal by contacting our team directly.

Site Addresses

Reduced-mobility zone

  • General information

    On the Quebec City side, a section of the site is reserved for people with reduced mobility. Access is free and available from 7:30 pm. First come, first served!

    Notice that the section is located at the back of the stage to have an excellent view on the pyrotechnical show.

    The users of this zone may be accompanied by one person only in order to allow as many people as possible to enjoy the space. Accompanying persons must bring their own chair.

    The location was chosen to limit travel for users of the Service de Transport Adapté de la Capitale (STAQ).

  • Services offered

    An adapted toilet is installed near the reserved area and all event venues are accessible and barrier-free.

    This section is located to offer an exceptional view on the pyrotechnical show.

  • Restrictions

    The area is strictly reserved for people with reduced mobility, that is to say, with permanent or temporary mobility difficulties, in manual or electric wheelchairs, with walkers or crutches.

    People with assistance dogs are welcome, but the noise caused by the fireworks may disturb them.

Children and strollers

    The sites hosting the Grands Feux Loto-Québec are designed to offer universal accessibility with surfaces that allow for obstacle-free circulation. It is therefore entirely accessible to prams and small children.

    Each evening, you can find a selection of the most famous food trucks of Quebec City to treat yourself to their inventive and tasty menu!

Notice to boaters

  • Information

    The Grands Feux Loto-Québec launch site is located on a barge between the two shores of Québec and Lévis.

    The pyromusical shows take place at 10:00 p.m. and last 20 minutes each.

  • What can I bring on the sites of the Grands Feux Loto-Québec?

    FORBIDDEN ITEMS ON SITE:

    • Drugs and accessories linked with them (except for medicines under prescription);
    • Glass bottles and cans (closed or open);
    • Fireworks or firecrackers;
    • Rifle bullets;
    • Bladed weapons and blunt objects;
    • Audio recorders with microphone;
    • Professional camera (capture equipment) without authorization;
    • Drone (including above the river during the fireworks);
    • Skateboard, scooter and bike (Parking for bikes available);
    • Any item intended for sale or promotion, distributed without written and signed permission.

    Allowed items on site:

    • Prams for children;
    • Beach towels;
    • Backpacks and small bags (subject to search);
    • Binoculars;
    • Food (light snacks);
    • Animals on a leash;
    • Umbrellas;
    • Camping chairs;
    • Coolers;
    • Reusable water bottles.
  • Are pets allowed on site?

    Only dogs on a leash are allowed on the site. It is important to know that many animals can become nervous during fireworks because of the noise they generate.

    Please note that only service dogs on a leash are allowed in the reserved seating area.

  • Is there free WIFI on site?

    Unfortunately, it is not possible to get a free access to WIFI on the sites rented by the Grands Feux Loto-Québec for the duration of the event.

  • What payment methods are available on site?

    Cash and Debit/Credit cards are allowed in the food trucks and bars.
