Solstice Prize
At every Loto-Québec International Fireworks Competition, the team giving the best performance is awarded the "Solstice Loto-Québec" grand prize. The 5-member jury that chooses the winner is selected among individuals from different sectors: business, tourism, medias, culture and arts.
The Solstice Loto-Québec is one of the most sought-after awards on the international pyrotechnical competition circuit. The original bronze sculpture crafted by Riverain is handed out every year to the team judged to have best met the following criterias:
- Quality and quantity of pyrotechnical pieces and effects;
- Most judicious use of the site;
- Synchronization of displays and soundtracks;
- Concept design, diversity, and originality;
- Intensity of colors and fireworks.
