Design: Nick Mitri Firm: FIREWORKS FOR AFRICA |
Tapestry of Colors
Fans of the Loto-Québec International Fireworks Competition will remember Fireworks for Africa, a small 3-person company founded in 1996. It won first place at the 2000 and 2001 editions in Québec City. Over the years, it has accumulated distinctions not only in Canada but also in Italy, Spain, France, and the Czech Republic. For their return to Québec City, Fireworks for Africa again promises to deliver a grandiose and highly artistic performance with their show Tapestry of Colors. The show designer, Nick Mitri, has paid special attention to the colour combinations, the musical selection, and the musical sequence in order to offer spectators the best performance of the competition. The South African team will skilfully back up their visual performance with a cinematographic musical soundtrack that features pieces from Madagascar, The Lion King, Gladiator, and Pirates of the Caribbean.
